Confidential counselor

A confidential counselor is a person within a company to whom confidential matters can be disclosed.
Matters relating, for example, to undesirable manners of colleagues, supervisors or supervisors. A confidential counselor is trained to handle confidential matters correctly and to help the reporter with this. It is important that employees can fully confide in the confidential counselor. Integrity and confidentiality are central; contact must be safe for the employee. A confidential counselor has a duty of confidentiality (unless there are violations of the law) and only takes steps if the reporter gives permission. Codes of conduct have been developed by legislators and professional organizations that the confidential counselors adhere to.
